Mystery plant

We had an unseasonably warm winter and it was no surprise that something was starting to pop up in our flower box on our fire escape! I took photos on a regular basis.

February 11th - a little bit of frost

March 4th -- Please take notice of the greens behind my mystery plant. I thought this was chives.

April 1st 

 April 27th - It didn't make it! :-(

But I did gain this:

 :-) After googling this plant, I learned that I was right! It is chives -- Chive Flowers! ♥
