Saturday, May 2nd

After our 2 hour jeep tour of the island, we quickly headed back to our villa to get ready for Frank & Chris's wedding! (If you missed Part 1 Catalina, click here!)

Reception:

Fondant-free wedding cake made by local baker, Katrina. :)

The main tier was vanilla butter cake, with lemon mousse, lemon curd and raspberry drizzle.

The top tier was Devil's Food Cake with chocolate mousse. The entire cake was covered in vanilla buttercream and decorated with the organic flowers by Tracy from Bloom florist.

Loved the wedding favor! -- Wine stopper, salt + Scharffen Berger chocolates ♥

Dear friend of the grooms - Sandy Hernandez. Frank and Sandy met in 1987 in high school. A few years ago, Frank & Chris found out that Sandy and Chris are vaguely related. :-)

Boy, I was touched in a different way by each of Frank's and Chris's mommies. Above is Chris's Mommy, Linda Jane. Her raw emotion reached the core of my heart.

Frank's mommy, Irene, I loved her energy! She lights up a room.

Frank had a beautiful moment alone on the dance floor as a newly wedded groom!

Zip-lining:

Scott Babe and I got into our golf cart (first one above) and drove less than 5 minutes down to Descanso Beach, where Frank and I would have a refresher and Scott Babe would participate in zip lining with Chris and fellow wedding guests.
