I hadn't been to Philly in ages and Kittydelphia gave me a good excuse to plan a little getaway for Scott Babe and me. ♥

Museum of the American Revolution:

While I was at Kittydelphia, Scott Babe went to the Museum of the American Revolution. He said it inspiring and that got more out of it than learning history at school, since he is now old enough to appreciate and understand it with respect to today's political landscape. His favorite part was how long it took to agree on the Great Seal. There were people that sided with England. Like any other debate, people liked being under the rule of England. We didn't really have a bad situation.

Sunday brunch at Bud & Marilyn's:

 This was recommended by my friend Martin, who lives in the city. Would love to eat there again.

 I ate scrapple growing up, but don't order it these days!!! 

 

 

 Scott Babe devoured his CHILAQUILES VERDES - pork carnitas, corn tortillas, tomatillo salsa, cheddar, crema, black beans, guacamole, fried egg  

OMG - LOVED.
