After learning of the murder, I was waking up in the middle of the night, for a week, thinking of this poor woman. My heart goes out to her family and friends, really.
The murder case remains unsolved.
From all of the reading I have done on the murder, which was too much, my gut says this is a cover up to protect the island's tourist industry and Club Med's reputation. The husband of the victim feels the same way.

A few snaps from our vacation:
Video of the soothing water
New technology for Club Med -- your wristband is also your key to your room.
There were major remodels at the resort including the pool after Hurricane Irma and Maria.
I ate their white chocolate bread every morning. (Along with eggs, fruit, etc... from their buffet.)
One morning I started off with a greyhound! Yum!
I would imagine this is coconut rum & OJ!
World cup being shown
We had 90 minute couples massages.
Grilled pineapple and fries
White Night
I love watching the trapeze.
Sailing for Scott Babe while I floated on my pink tube. (no pics!)
We did bring our Santa hats!
Bartender Alex's specialty drink!
On day two, the resort ran out of rosé. Supplier didn't deliver it. (dive bar next door was out of stock, too.) This was a big deal to me. It's what I drink during lunch & dinners. Pictured above is Arnie, whom I met during my first Club Med back in 2003. It's always nice to see him again. He found one last bottle for us because he knew my frustration! Such a nice guy.
Throwback with Arnie!

This one is Scuba Cat! ♥
Intro to Scuba for Scott Babe!
There was no ice cream until the last evening of our trip. I do realize that I'm complaining a lot about this vacation. Another reason not to return to this one. (I do love their Bahamas location)
Stracciatella is one of my favorite gelatos!
The End!
