We didn't get the snow or the ice. My app never seemed to be accurate.
Spittal:
Thursday's market through the castle door!
Few vendors because it was a holiday week.
Speck
Locally made schnapps.
Mettnitzer’s for lunch:
This was Wolfgang’s first time at this restaurant under this newish ownership. The reviews online were positive.
I was very curious. When we walked in, first question from the bartender/waiter was, “Do you have a reservation?” No! We were seated in the front room, near the bar. We were fine with this. The food will taste the same! The more time passed and diners entering and being asked same question, the more curious I was about the other rooms!

My first course, what else?! Frittatensuppe! Delicious. Perfect.
Old-School table-side service
I chose the beef stroganoff. This was one of the tastiest meals of my life. TO DIE FOR. With cheese risotto. Reader, this meal was so insanely good that Wolfgang and I went AGAIN two days later. Stay tuned for that posting!
A few of the "Stern Singers" we saw yesterday at the pet store. Small world! (It's a Catholic charity that donates to people in poverty in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.)
Second dessert at Iris's:
Iris's hubby, Michael, not pictured.
I brought everyone gifts, including Mimi the kitty.
Iris baked Lambadaschnitte for our visit. SO NICE and delicious!
Iris made me a photo book and had ALREADY printed a few pics from this!!!! Fainting.

Mimi again :)
